About WC Pan: This is an early Twyfords Zone, manufactured from Enameled Fireclay and not been in use for 50+ years, most likely previously used as a planter. The outlet of the WC pan has been shortened, but will still connect an old or modern waste outlet. A standard type WC seat could also be used on this WC, compatable with modern & vintage originals.

About WC Pan: This is a Standard Sanex WC pan, removed from a rectory not too far away from Norwich. One of the best Art Deco Vitreous China WCs ever produced in the 1950s / 1960s. Like many other survivors. This example still looks, and flushes as good as new. A matching left hand or right hand flush cistern could be sold with this WC pan as a pair, plus the original accessories.

1928 Shanks Esco S Trap WC pan in Buff & White Enameled Fireclay = £330

Crazing: Yes - Surface glaze cracks on rim and seat lugs. Historic leak from flushcone has caused a bit of surface damage on the back of the WC pan.

About WC Pan: This Shanks Esco WC pan was removed from an outside WC just south of the Scottish Borders. Not used since the late 1960s, but eventually got removed August 2025. The original cistern paired with this was a Shanks 2 Gallon Levern. Due to where it came from, there are surface cracks and some crazing on the pan. This could be improved before being sold. This will be supplied with a flush cone compatable for the enlarged inlet this pan features.

About WC: This is a remarkable survivor. This is a double trap syphonic low level WC, known for strong yet silent flushes. The cistern, although not the exact original is like the one that would have originally been paired together. Fitted with similar original fittings. Tested & a good strong flush as expected.
Sold as Seen: £750. Due to rare combination, I won't sell separately unless replacing something identical with an intact pan / cistern.
